1. Capture everything
Write down what’s coming up – tasks, ideas, errands. One place for everything open, such as an inbox, makes sure nothing gets lost and keeps your head clear.
2. Add fixed appointments
Appointments that can’t move go into the plan first. They show you how much time is really left for everything else.
3. Most important first
Pick one to three tasks that really matter today and give them a fixed block of time. Everything else is a bonus.
4. Plan buffers
Expect interruptions and travel time. A free block in the afternoon catches whatever runs long, without the whole plan falling over.
5. Look back in the evening
What worked, what didn’t? Move unfinished tasks to tomorrow or back to your list on purpose. That way you start the next day with a clear picture.
